Committees of The Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN)

Council usually appoints Committees with specific Terms of Reference to assist in carrying out its duties under the Act and such Committees must report to the Council together and forward their recommendations from time to time. The Chairman and Vice-Chairman of each Committee shall be members of Council. Every decision or recommendation of Committee must be ratified by Council otherwise such decision would be null and void.

New members should avail themselves of the opportunity to join any of the Committees so as to contribute meaningfully to the development of our great Institute.

N.B: A presidential year is June of a year to May of the following year.

Direct Taxation Faculty	2nd Wednesday of every month
Tertiary Education Relation Committee	4th Tuesday of every Quarter
International Relations	2nd Tuesday of every Quarter
Annual Tax Conference	1st Friday of every other month
Tax Practice Monitoring Committee	4th Tuesday of every Quarter
Indirect Taxation Faculty	3rd Tuesday of every month
Oil & Gas & Solid Minerals Taxes Faculty	Last Wednesday of every month
International Taxation & Treaties Faculty	1st Thurday of every month
