INDUCTION OF NEW MEMBERS

The induction ceremony is intended to expose new members to the institute’s rules/regulations, professional code of conduct. It will also avail them the opportunity to know more about the Taxation Profession, the Institute and the Secretariat.

As part of its efforts to properly orientate new members on taxation, the Council has made induction ceremonies mandatory for all newly admitted members with effect from January 1, 1997. Participation in the programme in the opinion of Council, will equip such new entrants to face the challenge of the profession and instill in them a sense of belonging to the Institute.
