Nominations are hereby invited from members of CITN for the 2014 CITN Merit Awards scheduled to hold on Saturday, November 22, 2014. The Awards are to which nominations are to be made are in the following categories:

1. Individual 
a. Member i.e. as Associate or Fellow of the Institute One (1) nominee
b. Non- Member One (1) nominee

2. Corporate –Public Sector ( i.e. Government Organisations) One (1) nominee

3. Corporate – Private Sector ( i.e. Private Organisations) One (1) nominee

4. Individual category – Public Sector One (1) nominee

5. State Government One (1) nominee

6. Outstanding service to Taxation Profession One (1) nominee

The criteria for the Awards amongst others are:
1. Remarkable achievements in the Tax Profession 
2. Unsolicited and selfless service to the Institute 
3. Remarkable contributions to the development of the Nigeria economy 
4. Consistent high level of individual/corporate integrity, fairness and fairplay
