YEAR 2016 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
NOMINATION OF CANDIDATES FOR COUNCIL ELECTION

This is to inform all members that pursuant to the provisions of Schedule 1, Paragraph 5 of the Institute’s Act No. 76 of 1992 relating to the conduct of elections into Council, five seats would become vacant. The following members of Council will retire at the 2016 Annual General Meeting scheduled to hold on the 1st of June 2016 and are eligible for re-election in accordance with section 1(4) of the First Schedule to the CITN Act.

2. Barr Gregory Ayodele Da-Silva, FCTI
3. Mrs Risikat Abimbola Olumegbon, FCTI 
4. Mr Innocent Ohagwa, FCTI 
5. Mr Emmanuel Wada Arome, FCTI

Please, be informed that all members of the Institute are eligible to contest for election into Council for the five (5) vacancies. However nominated candidates and their sponsors must be financial members (members who have paid all subscriptions and levies till date) of the Institute.

As a professional Institute, all forms of electioneering campaign are disallowed.
Completed Nomination Forms (AS ATTACHED BELOW), which should reach the Secretariat on or before Friday, February 12, 2016 must be accompanied with two (2) passport sized photographs (white background) of each candidate, duly certified by one of the sponsors.

Any member wishing to bring before the Annual General Meeting a motion not related to the ordinary business of the day, should send it to the Secretariat not later than Friday, 15th of April, 2016.
