We are pleased to inform you that application for direct membership is now online. 

Below are the approved criteria to become a member of the Institute through direct membership:
1. Accredited Nigerian Professional Institutions i.e. ICAN and ANAN with 1 year post membership experience;
2. Staff of State Boards of Internal Revenue i.e. on Grade level 10 and above on Senior Inspector Cadre or Asst. Manager Tax with Federal Inland Revenue Service with two (2) years post promotion experience and must have passed the JTB/FIRS final examination.
3. Lawyers with three (3) years post call to bar and cognate experience.

Applicants are required to follow the procedures below for a successful approval of applications:
1. Visit https://www.citn.org;
2. Click on “Join CITN” on the website;
3. Click on “Apply for Direct Membership”;
4. Complete the online form from step 1-6;
5. Verify and Print your application.
6. Click on “Proceed to Payment”

Notes:
1. Ensure your email address is active as correspondence will be sent to the registered email;
2. All documents must be duly signed by a member of the Institute before uploading on the web portal;
3. Fee for Direct membership application is N10,000.00;
4. Upon approval of application for direct membership, an email will be sent to the applicant to pay for induction;
5. Fee for Direct membership induction is N250,000.00;
6. Upload a passport photograph which will be printed on your certificate;
7. Payment could be made as follows:
a. Pay online using Zenith GlobalPay - With Globalpay, you can make payment with your Mastercard, VISA and Verve cards. It is issued from any bank in the Country.
b. Pay online using Etranzact Webconnect Plus - Etranzact web connect plus, an additional online payment option also uses Mastercard, VISA, Verve and Genesis cards for its payments. It is issued from any bank in the Country.
c. Direct payment to the bank – Pay directly to UBA Bank Plc, Account Nos: 1005809652, Sort Code: 033153542,
d. Pay in any Etranzact Pay Outlet – Using Etranzact pay outlet, payments can be made in any bank branch. Simply click on Pay in any Etranzact pay outlet, an invoice with payee_id will be generated. Walk in to any Nigerian bank, ask the cashier that you want to pay to CITN Etranzact, pay with the generated payee_id. Your profile will be updated automatically.
