IMPORTANT NOTICE TO PROSPECTIVE INDUCTEES

1. The COMPULSORY Pre- Induction Orientation Programme, which would cover broad topics in tax practice and administration, will hold from Monday 23rd to Wednesday 25th April, 2018 at Events Centre, Plot 1, Block B, Hakeem Balogun Street, Alausa, Ikeja. GRADUATE STUDENTS ARE NOT TO ATTEND THE PRE-INDUCTION ORIENTATION PROGRAMME.

2. Note that your full attendance and participation at the Pre-Induction Orientation Programme is a condition to being qualified for induction on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at NECA House, Plot A2, Hakeem Balogun Street, Central Business District, Alausa, Ikeja – Lagos. You may also note that your membership number and certificate shall be issued to you at the venue of the induction.

3. Registration starts at 8a.m. on each day of the event.

4. Dress code throughout the duration of the programme (i.e., Monday 23rd – Thursday 26th) shall be corporate dressing (suit and tie) or full traditional wears (with cap). Please, note that T-Shirt or trouser and shirt alone is NOT allowed.

5. Prospective inductees are to note that a District fee of N1,500.00 (one thousand five hundred naira only) shall be made paid on the date of the Induction. This is for the District Society that you will be joining immediately you are inducted. Please, note that payment of this fee is also a condition to collecting your certificate on the day of the Induction.

6. It is hereby reiterated that Lawyers who did not pay the stipulated N5,000.00 (Five thousand naira only) certificate verification fee as charged by the Council of Legal Studies shall NOT be given their certificates until payment is done and authentication of certificate is confirmed.

7. You are to come with a generally accepted document of identification (Drivers licence, National Identity Card, International Passport, etc) without which you will not be able to collect your membership certificate on the day of the Induction.

8. Membership certificate shall not be collected by proxy for any reason whatsoever.
9. The list of expected participants for the induction is as shown below. Prospective inductees are to check specifically for the correctness of their names. THE POLICY OF THE INSTITUTE, AS REGARD THE ARRANGEMENT OF NAMES ON THE MEMBERSHIP CERTIFICATES, IS - FIRST NAME, OTHER NAMES AND SURNAME LAST.
