PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
The Marketing Officer will be responsible for the Academy’s policy as it relates to marketing of all its programs in an effective and efficient manner towards attaining the vision of the Tax Academy.

Lagos & Abuja, Nigeria.
JOB DESCRIPTION - Duties and Responsibilities: Marketing Officer. As the Marketing Officer, you are to report directly to the Provost on the Activities of the Academy.
The responsibilities of this position include but not limited to the following:
•Preparing, planning and project managing the publication of all publicity materials of the Academy in order to maximise brand promotion.
•Creating and developing innovative ways of relaying the Academy information to existing Tertiary Institutions with which it is affiliated.
•Relationship management between the Academy and tertiary institutions
•Contributing to the annual marketing plan of the Academy.
•Developing, Planning and managing marketing events and evaluating their success.
•Supporting the Provost and the Academy secretary in day to day running of the Academy.
•Selection and ordering of promotional items for exhibition and for use as corporate gifts
•Managing the stock of all marketing collateral i.e. brochures; creating systems to identify when stock needs to be replenished.
•Market Intelligence: Gathering information on competitors and programmes. Also gathering information on our programmes for use in form of market analysis.
•Updating the Academy social media accounts
•Updating information about the Academy on external websites and directories
•Creating fresh and up-to-date web content, to pass to the Web Development Officer and Web Designer as necessary
•Credit control of all the Academy’s programs.
•Providing ideas and input into the development of new e-marketing materials
•Frequently monitor analytics to measure and improve the Academy’s digital marketing activities
•To attend relevant internal and external meetings as required.
•Present a professional and positive image of the Academy at all times
•Publicise the strengths of the Tax Academy
•Promote the profile of the Academy as a whole to Tertiary Institutions
•Develop and execute marketing strategies and campaigns for the Tax Academy.
•Implementation of the Academy Marketing Strategy
•To carry out any other appropriate duties as assigned by the Provost and/or the Academy Secretary.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES
• Must have B.Sc in Marketing/Social Sciences with NYSC discharge/Exemption/Exclusion Certificate
• Must have a minimum of two (2) years post-qualification relevant experience;
• Possession of any related and/or recognized professional qualifications is an added advantage ;
• Must be between 25 – 30 years of age;
• Excellent knowledge of modern Information and Telecommunications Systems;
• Must have flair for research
