RE - APPROVED DIRECT MEMBERSHIP APPLICANTS


Congratulations on our Council’s approval of your application for admission as an Associate member of our Institute. 



Please note that to formalise your admission and enable you to participate in the Pre-Induction Orientation Programme and Induction Ceremonies, you will be required to pay a total sum of N250,000.00 (Two Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira Only),. The breakdown of the sum is as follows:

Publication                           - 14,000.00
Orientation Fee                   - 100,000.00
Induction Fee                       - 65,000.00
Annual Subscription               - 7,500.00
Professorial Chair                  - 1,000.00
Building/Construction Levy - 35,000.00
Total                                   - 250,000.00


Payment procedure:
1. Log on to https://www.citn.org.
2. Use the username and password sent to your mailbox to log in at member login
3. Click the blue box with the inscription Apply for Induction at the left hand corner
4. Check on the agreement terms
5. Then click on proceed to payment.



(Note the payment reference code that would be generated as it would be needed if you want to pay directly through any Commercial bank nationwide) 


Payment Options:
1. Webpay/Pay with Quickteller/Globalpay - Pay using any Bank ATM Debit Cards (Mastercard, VISA, Verve) on the CITN Portal;
2. Quickteller Platform: Visit www.quickteller.com/citn, insert the reference code generated from the portal, select Induction fee from options and pay with your ATM Debit Card (Mastercard, VISA, Verve); or
3. Pay Direct (Bank Branch): Visit any commercial bank and present the payment reference code generated to the cashier, who would use same to process your payment through Pay Direct Platform.


4. Pay into the Institute’s UBA Bank Account Number 1005809652 at any branch of UBA nationwide. Upon payment, send payment teller with reference code to patricia@https://www.citn.org, motunrayo@https://www.citn.org for update on portal.


Once payment is successful, a mail will be sent to inform you of the success of your registration for induction. Once you receive this, be rest assured that you have been registered for the Induction.


Deadline for payment is on or before Friday, July 31, 2020.


The induction will be preceded with a 3-day COMPULSORY Pre- Induction Orientation Programme, which would cover broad topics in tax practice and administration. Please, note that your attendance and full participation at the Pre-Induction Orientation Programme is a key condition to being inducted.


NOTE ALSO THAT FAILURE TO PRESENT YOURSELF FOR INDUCTION AUTOMATICALLY LEADS TO FORFEITURE OF THE OFFER OF ADMISSION. YOU WOULD NEED TO GO THROUGH THE PROCESS OF REAPPLYING FOR MEMBERSHIP THEREAFTER.


It is pertinent to also inform you that this offer of membership would be withdrawn in addition to possible prosecution if it is confirmed that you secured the membership of the Institute fraudulently.
